Mark Lindquist: Revolutions in Wood--about the life and work of the renowned contemporary sculptor--is written by Dr. Robert Hobbs, who holds the Rhoda Thalhimer Endowed Chair of American Art History, Virginia Commonwealth University.

Serving as guest-curator for the Hand Workshop Art Center, Richmond,VA., Professor Hobbs organized and catalogued 42 of Lindquist's most significant works done over a 25 year period from 1969-1994. The national touring exhibition traveled to The Renwick Gallery of The National Museum of American Art, Smithsonian Institution (and others) from 1995 - 1997.

This lavishly illustrated book with photos by the renowned photographer Paul Avis is a special treasure.
